Chicago soybean futures fell about 5.3% this week, with wheat cumulative decline exceeding 2.9%

On Friday (March 20), at the New York close, the Bloomberg Grain Index fell 1.33% to 31.4890 points, declining 3.01% for the week. This week, CBOT corn futures fell 0.21%, CBOT wheat futures fell 2.93%. CBOT soybean futures fell 0.68% to $11.6050 per bushel, declining 5.28% for the week. On March 16, soybeans experienced a significant decline, followed by continued narrow-range consolidation at lower levels. Soybean meal futures rose 1.64% for the week, while soybean oil futures fell 2.83%.
