The S&P 500 index closed down 100.01 points, a decline of 1.51%, at 6,506.48 points, approaching the September 8 close of 6,495.15 points. This week, it has fallen a total of 1.90%, and since the close on January 27, it has retraced 6.77%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 443.96 points, a decrease of 0.96%, to 45,577.47 points. This week, it declined 2.11%, and since the close on February 10, it has retraced over 9.18%. The Nasdaq Composite Index (Nasdaq) fell 443.08 points, a decline of 2.01%, to 21,647.611 points. This week, it has decreased 2.07%, and since the close on October 29, it has retraced over 9.64%. The Nasdaq 100 Index declined 457.122 points, a decrease of 1.88%, to 23,898.155 points.
