A-shares Morning Review: ChiNext Index Up 0.89%, Computing Hardware Concept Stocks All Rally

Southern Finance, March 18 — The three major indices showed mixed performance, with the Shanghai Composite Index fluctuating and pulling back, while the ChiNext Index rose over 0.8%, after previously turning red. At the close, the Shanghai Composite fell 0.4%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.05%, and the ChiNext Index increased 0.89%. Trading volume continued to shrink, with half-day turnover in the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets totaling 1.24 trillion yuan, down 128.2 billion yuan from the previous trading day. Over 2,700 stocks declined across the market.

In terms of sectors, computing hardware stocks all strengthened, including a rebound in the CPO concept. Risconder hit four limit-ups in seven days, Keshun Technology reached the daily limit, and the three giants of the “Yizhongtian” optical module industry all rose collectively. Liquid-cooled server concepts surged with volatility, with Dayuan Pump and Jialitu both hitting the daily limit. Storage chip concepts rose, with Byte Storage reaching a new historical high and Langke Technology up over 10%. The computing power collaboration concept was active, with Shaoneng Shares and Guangdong Power A hitting the daily limit with one-word涨停.

On the downside, oil and gas stocks collectively adjusted, with Intercontinental Oil & Gas, Keli Shares, and Shandong Molong among many stocks falling sharply.
