Hand in Hand with the National Library and HTC China Digital Culture Group to Launch the First Demonstration Project of an Immersive Thematic Space Multi-cultural Scenario Cinema System

China Economic Net Beijing, March 20 (Reporter Cheng Qi) Recently, China Digital Culture Group (hereinafter referred to as “Zhongshu Group”) jointly launched “The Little Prince: Star Travel Adventure—Immersive Large Space Experience Exhibition” with the National Library (National Classics Museum) and HTC. This exhibition is the first demonstration project of Zhongshu Group’s “Immersive Theme Space Multi-Cultural Scene Cinema System” strategic layout. It is a landmark practice of the deep integration of “Culture + Technology” and also marks the industry’s entry into the new era of LBE 2.0 (Location-Based Entertainment 2.0), characterized by real-time interaction, cultural resonance, and emotional connection.

“The Little Prince: Star Travel Adventure” reinterprets the literary classic through digital technology, deeply integrating Chinese traditional paper folding art with XR immersive experiences to create a three-dimensional interactive space that combines Eastern aesthetics with emotional storytelling. Relying on HTC’s advanced XR large space technology and equipment support, visitors can immerse themselves in scenes where the Little Prince meets classic characters like the Rose and the Fox. Through poetic visual presentation and interactive design, they can experience themes of growth, companionship, and responsibility.

The exhibition uses “XR + Large Space” technology as its framework, combined with the dynamic visual language of traditional paper folding art, creating an immersive environment akin to an “interactive 3D picture book.” During the approximately 30-minute experience, visitors use HTC VIVE Focus Vision headsets to revisit the classic scenes of the original “The Little Prince” or participate interactively to drive the narrative forward, transforming from “spectators” to “participants” and even “co-creators.”

In terms of content creation, Zhongshu Group activates classic IPs through technological innovation, conveying cultural essence through artistic expression, and providing the public with high-quality cultural experiences that combine aesthetic value and spiritual resonance. As the first demonstration project of Zhongshu Group’s “Immersive Theme Space Multi-Cultural Scene Cinema System,” the exhibition is located at the National Library, highlighting its role as a model in content quality and public cultural service. It also provides a replicable operation and content model for promotion in various cultural venues such as libraries, museums, and art galleries across the country.

It is reported that Zhongshu Group will develop a series of immersive experience contents focusing on classic cultural IPs, relic activation, and intangible cultural heritage transmission, gradually building a network of themed spaces that cover multiple cultural scenes, serve diverse audiences, and promote multiple cultures.

During the same period, Beijing Zhongshu Longzang Technology Co., Ltd. and HTC signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement. In the future, both parties will leverage their respective advantages and resources in technological innovation, VR/XR/AI hardware and software development, immersive virtual reality content design, production, and operation, as well as overseas channel expansion and brand building. They will work together on the “Construction Plan for the Immersive Theme Space Multi-Cultural Scene Cinema System,” focusing on three core areas: “Joint Promotion of Extended Reality Immersive Experience Industry Standards,” “Production of High-Quality Cultural Content for Immersive Experience Spaces,” and “Co-Construction of Digital Cultural Relics Content and Corpora.”

The exhibition will run until November 3.
