Abstract generation in progress

The Boeing Company (BA) is showing signs of strong recovery, as evidenced by a surging backlog of $682 billion and stabilizing margins. Despite short-term impacts from the Spirit Aerosystems acquisition and program schedule hurdles, Boeing delivered 600 aircraft last year and is nearing certification for new 737 Max models. The company anticipates flat or positive margins in commercial airplanes, high single-digit margins in Defense Space and Security, and high-teens margins for Global Services.
