According to a report from the main station’s reporter on March 16th local time, more than 10,000 flights in the United States have been delayed or canceled due to a series of storms hitting the East Coast and other regions. Due to the risks posed by strong winds and thunderstorms, the Federal Aviation Administration has ordered flight delay restrictions at the three major airports around New York City—LaGuardia Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, as well as Newark Airport in New Jersey. Additionally, similar restrictions have been imposed at Washington Reagan National Airport, Charlotte Airport, Atlanta Airport, and Houston Bush Airport.
