Zuckerberg is building AI agents to help him fulfill his CEO responsibilities
Sources reveal that Zuckerberg is developing a CEO-exclusive AI assistant to help him with his work. This AI, still in development, can currently assist Zuckerberg in accessing information more efficiently. For example, answers that previously required multiple intermediaries can now be retrieved directly by this AI.
Recently, Zuckerberg has also dedicated more time to coding and previewed this initiative during the company’s January earnings call.
AI tools have rapidly become widespread within Meta. Part of the reason is that AI application usage is now included in employee performance evaluations. Internal message boards are filled with employees sharing new AI use cases and tools they’ve developed using AI.
Some employees say the current atmosphere reminds them of Meta’s early days when it was still called “Facebook,” with an unofficial motto of “Move fast and break things.”
Employees have started using personal AI assistants like MyClaw, which can access chat histories and work documents, and even communicate with colleagues or interface with their personal AI assistants.
