People's Finance News, March 23 — According to Shanxi Daily, on March 19, Shanxi Unicom announced that Shanmei International Hequ Open-pit Coal's "50G-PON+FTTR-B+Wi-Fi7" 10-gigabit optical network pilot project has recently passed final verification by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, becoming the province's first officially launched "10-gigabit factory," and also the country's first pilot project applying this technology in an open-pit coal mining scenario.
