Chinese Embassy in Israel Reminds Chinese Citizens to Relocate and Evacuate, and Further Strengthens Security Precautions
What are the new developments in Middle East security that prompted the embassy to issue another warning?
On March 23, the Chinese Embassy in Israel once again reminded Chinese citizens in Israel to evacuate and strengthen safety precautions.
Currently, the security situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate. The scope, frequency, and intensity of missile and drone attacks on Israel have increased further, with ongoing incidents of casualties and property damage. There have been repeated cases of individuals encountering danger because they failed to enter bomb shelters. The Chinese Embassy in Israel once again urges Chinese citizens in Israel to abandon complacency, return to China as soon as possible or evacuate to safe areas, stay away from airports, ports, power plants, refineries, and other critical infrastructure and military-sensitive sites. They should also strictly follow the security instructions from the Israeli rear command, ensure that their residences and workplaces are equipped with complete bomb shelters, and immediately enter shelters upon hearing air-raid sirens. It is essential to stay vigilant, avoid complacency, and not take life lightly. In case of emergencies, please contact the police promptly and get in touch with the Chinese Embassy in Israel.
On March 25, our embassy will organize another group of Chinese citizens in Israel (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan compatriots) to evacuate through the Taba border crossing in Egypt.
