Huatai Futures: The supply of coking coal in the market is slightly higher than demand, and prices are expected to fluctuate mildly with a short-term upward trend.

Currently, the supply of coking coal is relatively abundant. Domestic coking coal is steadily recovering, and Mongolian coal supply remains high. Although downstream demand is gradually recovering, supply slightly exceeds demand, leading to a month-on-month increase in inventory. Considering the Middle East situation has triggered a rise in energy prices, market expectations suggest this will eventually influence coal prices. In the short term, coking coal prices are expected to fluctuate and remain relatively strong. In the longer term, attention should be paid to the Middle East situation and the transmission of oil and gas prices. (Huatai Futures)
