I saw Gate's reserve update, and my first impression was that the data is genuinely impressive, and not the kind of borderline safety that barely makes the cut. It's clearly leaving room for buffer—that kind of safety with redundancy built in. A 122% coverage ratio already puts it well above industry benchmarks, but Bitcoin went straight to 147%, which basically amounts to telling the market through numbers: not just safe, but safe with cushion and confidence.
What I personally care about is the status of mainstream assets. ETH also got stable supplementation, showing it's not just Bitcoin getting propped up for appearances. On the other hand, stablecoins like USDT didn't get pushed too high, which I think makes sense. After all, liquidity there is already abundant, so there's no need for excessive stacking.
I'm inclined to see this as a signal that risk is under control, especially with the market still in observation mode. This kind of data is more convincing to me than any bull market calls.
Also, happy 13th anniversary to Gate! You've come a long way with solid footwork, witnessing countless market waves, and I look forward to continuing to lead the crypto world and going further.
