Indian Cricket Team Sold for $1.78B to Blackstone, Bolt Ventures

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru of the Indian Premier League has been sold for approximately $1.78 billion. The acquiring investor group includes Blackstone, marking their first sports investment, as well as David Blitzer’s Bolt Ventures and Indian conglomerates Aditya Birla Group and The Times of India Group.
