Shenzhen's Foreign Trade Imports and Exports Exceed 824.2 Billion Yuan in First Two Months of the Year, Setting a New Historical Record for the Same Period

People’s Financial News, March 23 — According to Shenzhen Customs, in the first two months of 2026, Shenzhen’s total import and export value reached 824.23 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 37.3%, setting a new record for the same period. Among them, exports totaled 494.36 billion yuan, up 35.5%; imports reached 329.87 billion yuan, up 40%. Electromechanical products remain the “ballast stone” of Shenzhen’s foreign trade. In the first two months, Shenzhen exported 360.17 billion yuan worth of electromechanical products, a 30.6% increase, accounting for 72.9% of total exports; imported 253.42 billion yuan worth of electromechanical products, up 33.4%, making up 76.8%. Electronic components and computer parts related to artificial intelligence saw a significant increase of 37.1%, totaling 316.69 billion yuan, contributing 38.3% to the city’s foreign trade growth. Export growth of green, low-carbon, and特色优势 products is rapid. The “new three” products (new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, photovoltaic products) exported 21.56 billion yuan, a 43.7% increase; exports of drones, 3D printers, and digital cameras also grew quickly.
