South Korea Makes Final Anti-Dumping Determination on Chinese Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel Hot-Rolled Coils

People’s Financial News, March 23 — According to the China Trade Remedy Information Network, on February 23, 2026, the Korea Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2026-6, confirming an anti-dumping final ruling against hot-rolled steel coils of carbon and alloy steels originating from China and Japan. It recommends that the Korean Ministry of Strategy and Finance impose anti-dumping duties for five years on the involved products, with China-related products facing tariffs ranging from 28.16% to 33.1%. At the same time, approval was granted for some companies’ price commitments, exempting those companies from anti-dumping duties if they meet the price commitment requirements.
