Apple announces AirPods Max 2 with the same price of $549

Apple releases AirPods Max 2 over-ear headphones, with active noise cancellation 1.5 times better than the 2020 first-generation model. Supports adaptive audio that automatically balances noise cancellation based on the environment. Uses the H2 chip to replace the outdated chip, adding features such as real-time translation, conversation awareness (auto lowering volume when speaking), and loud sound reduction. Upgraded microphones achieve “studio-quality audio recording,” and wireless latency is reduced to optimize gaming performance.

Priced at $549, the same as the previous generation, available in five colors: Blue, Purple, Orange, Midnight, and Starlight. Pre-orders start on March 25, with availability in early April.
