Tuesday (March 24) New York late session, ICE US Dollar Index rose 0.28%, closing at 99.231, with an intraday trading range of 99.060-99.622. During the oscillating upward trend, it hit a daily high at 01:10 Beijing time and sharply dropped from 99.400 at 04:20 Beijing time—also hitting a daily low. Bloomberg US Dollar Index increased 0.29%, closing at 1209.28, with an intraday range of 1205.34-1211.52; no trading data after 04:00. USD/JPY rose 0.16%, to 158.69 yen, with an intraday range of 158.28-159.19 yen, rebounding from below 159.00 yen after the US stock market close to above 158.40 yen. EUR/JPY increased 0.06%, while GBP/JPY remained roughly flat.
