The commander of the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy stated that the cargo ship “Selen” was ordered to return after failing to comply with legal requirements and unauthorized entry into the Strait of Hormuz. He emphasized that any vessel passing through the Strait of Hormuz must coordinate fully with Iranian maritime authorities.

On the other hand, Thai Foreign Minister confirmed on Tuesday that after negotiations with Iran and Oman, a Thai oil tanker that had been anchored in the Persian Gulf for several days has successfully passed through the Strait of Hormuz and is expected to arrive in Thailand in early April. On the 11th of this month, an incident occurred near the Strait of Hormuz involving an attack on a Thai vessel.

Additionally, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that two AGM-158 cruise missiles were destroyed near Tehran by a new defense system of the Revolutionary Guard, which is controlled by Iran’s integrated air defense network.
