Today, Shanghai Metal Market spot zinc is priced at 22,540-22,640 RMB/ton, with an average of 22,590 RMB/ton, down 240 RMB/ton from the previous trading day. The SHFE zinc 2604 contract is trading at a discount of 200-100 RMB/ton. This morning, zinc prices continued to fluctuate at low levels. By the close of the morning session, the main SHFE zinc contract fell by 25 RMB/ton, a decrease of 0.11%. Overall, the spot market remained stable today, with zinc prices stabilizing after a decline. Downstream buyers showed slightly improved acceptance at lower prices, but high prices still had difficulty in transactions. Holders quoted high prices early in the session but remained cautious; initial offers around +70 RMB/ton for the market average were not yet transacted. During the session, prices were lowered to around +50 RMB/ton for transactions. Domestic spot discounts slightly narrowed to around -80 RMB/ton. (SHMET)
