Broadcom Inc. and Carahsoft Technology Corp. have secured a five-year, $970 million blanket purchase agreement (BPA) with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This agreement aims to streamline and consolidate software contracts, providing uniform pricing and cost transparency for private cloud infrastructure and security solutions to various Department of War (DoW) agencies. The deal leverages the VMware by Broadcom Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform to enhance mission capabilities, reduce costs, and accelerate secure digital transformation, ultimately supporting next-generation AI-enabled defense capabilities.
