Individual refineries resume stable production after restart, asphalt production capacity utilization rate increases quarter-over-quarter

Latest data shows that as of the week ending March 4, China’s 92 asphalt refineries have a capacity utilization rate of 25.1%, up 2.0% week-on-week. Domestic heavy-duty asphalt companies (77 firms) have a capacity utilization rate of 23.3%, up 1.9% week-on-week. This week, some refineries in northern regions resumed production and operated stably, while major refineries in southern regions slightly increased output, leading to higher capacity utilization rates.
