Product matrix, from single-point breakthroughs to platform-based layouts.

On the afternoon of March 20, Zhuhai Jieli Technology Co., Ltd. will undergo review by the Beijing Stock Exchange Listing Committee.

This chip design company headquartered in Zhuhai plans to raise 680 million yuan, investing in three major areas: intelligent wireless audio, smart wearables, and AIoT edge computing.

Starting with smart speaker chips, leading the global market share for TWS earphone chips, and then expanding into platform-based layouts in smart wearables and IoT, Jieli Technology’s growth path shows a clear progressive logic: breaking into the market with single-point products, building barriers through technological accumulation, and ultimately achieving scaled expansion through industry chain collaboration.

Product Matrix

From single-point breakthroughs to platform-based layouts

Jieli Technology’s product expansion path begins with precise entry into niche markets.

Initially focusing on smart speaker chips as a breakthrough. The AC706N chip integrates a 32-bit DSP processor and dual-mode Bluetooth 6.0 technology, supporting communication over hundreds of meters and cinema-grade audio-visual synchronization. This product filled some gaps in domestic professional audio chips and accumulated experience for subsequent technological iterations.

The explosion of TWS earphones became a key turning point for Jieli Technology. By 2024, its TWS earphone chip sales exceeded 4.659 billion units; in 2025, the JL7096D chip, which integrates broadband digital adaptive ANC technology, achieved 44ms ultra-low latency and 47 hours of ultra-long battery life, used in products like vivo TWS Air3 Pro, receiving positive market feedback. The basic chips also rank among the industry’s top in power consumption, latency, and signal-to-noise ratio. From 2022 to 2024, the cumulative sales of Bluetooth audio chips reached 5.266 billion units, surpassing the total sales of five other listed companies in the same period.

After establishing a foothold in audio chips, Jieli Technology extended into smart wearables and IoT fields. Smart wearable chips supply brands like Xiaomi, Little Genius, and Indian brand boAt; IoT chips have formed a comprehensive solution system covering multiple scenarios. In the first quarter of 2026, sales of mid-to-high-end Bluetooth earphone chips, smart wearables, and smart IoT products grew simultaneously, with the product matrix evolving from “single-point leadership” to “multi-category collaboration.”

Industry Chain Collaboration

Building a support system for scaled expansion

The expansion of the product matrix is not an isolated technological breakthrough but is based on both technological accumulation and industry chain collaboration.

In wafer manufacturing, Jieli Technology cooperates with domestic foundries such as Huahong Group and China Resources Shanghua, forming a “design-driven manufacturing” collaborative model: adapting chip designs to the technical characteristics of local wafer fabs, assisting with equipment debugging and material verification. In packaging and testing, it works closely with companies like Huate Technology, Mifitek, and Puran Co., Ltd. This collaboration enhances the adaptability of the domestic industry chain and reduces reliance on external supply chains.

Meanwhile, Jieli Technology continues to invest in full-chain R&D. As of June 2025, the company holds 370 authorized invention patents, ranking among the top in comparable domestic companies; R&D personnel account for 70.46%, with a total R&D investment of 882 million yuan. From 2022 to 2025, its technological achievements in “low-latency communication,” “active noise reduction,” and “edge AI” have been validated by expert panels as reaching international leading levels. For example, in active noise reduction, multiple invention patents have been filed, and chips integrating ANC technology have achieved noise reduction effects close to flagship in-ear products in some semi-in-ear TWS earphones.

The combination of industry chain collaboration and independent R&D capabilities forms Jieli Technology’s competitive moat. Its chips are supplied to terminal brands like vivo, Xiaomi, Honor, Transsion, Edifier, and Philips, with some collaborations creating a closed loop of “chip innovation—product hit—market expansion.”

Edge AI and New Tracks

Imagination space after listing

After consolidating its core business, Jieli Technology is extending into new growth curves.

Edge AI is one clear direction. The company focuses on low-power voice recognition and image processing scenarios, with related products already scaled. In the first half of 2025, sales of edge AI products increased by 84.23% year-over-year. Against the backdrop of nearly 40% annual compound growth in the global edge AI market, Jieli Technology is transforming from a traditional chip supplier to an “integrated solution provider of chips + algorithms + cloud.”

The fundraising from this listing also confirms this strategy. The 680 million yuan raised will be used for upgrades in intelligent wireless audio technology, smart wearable chips, and AIoT edge computing chip R&D. These projects will further enhance the computing power and energy efficiency of edge AI chips and expand applications in edge computing.

Meanwhile, Jieli Technology is also attempting to break into the consumer electronics boundary. Relying on its low-power, highly integrated technology, the company has assembled a dedicated team to extend into automotive electronics and industrial control sectors. With the global AI chip market continuing to grow, this layout opens new growth space. From products to industry chain positioning and new tracks, Jieli Technology’s development path offers a model for the advancement of domestic chip enterprises.
