Sina Tech News, March 17 — Recently, Yuewen Group held the “AI Realistic Human Lecture Hall” in Beijing, where leaders from several top industry companies discussed the future trends amid industry transformation.

At the event, Meng Xiangyun, founder of Aikan Interactive, pointed out that the AI trend is irreversible. He said, “Grand wars and extreme scenes that were difficult to film due to cost and location constraints can now be easily rendered using AI realistic technology, breaking physical filming boundaries. At the same time, AI also liberates creators’ imaginations, opening up unlimited creative possibilities.”

Zheng Zhong, head of Vidu solutions, introduced that after a year of efforts by AI practitioners, China’s modeling capabilities have significantly improved. “From aesthetic understanding to generation effects, the quality continues to break through. We are now moving into serious professional creation fields, beginning to penetrate into high-quality dramas and realistic human simulations.” Zheng Zhong judged, “Combining ‘reference live videos’ with ‘image-to-video’ is a future trend; their integration will produce a high-quality realistic human drama.”

Ding Kuan, chief director of Jiuzhiyuan AI, emphasized, “The industry is at a historic turning point where deep integration and upheaval of technology are happening.” He stated, “AI is the spear, IP is the shield; future competition is between IP universes. We should not only focus on creation itself but also look at the world. We need to use the philosophical wisdom of ‘Eastern Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism,’ skillfully employing the language of classic global genre films, to package a Chinese story with global appeal and then go global.”

He Yuanxiao, founder of Yunso Mapping, believes that “good stories and good IP will be enduring. No matter how the industry’s expression methods change, since we are in the content industry, good stories and good IP, along with telling good stories and good IP, will always be at the core.”

Jiangyou Culture founder Huang Haonan predicts that 2026 will be the year of a major AI realistic human explosion, which will determine the entire market pattern and direction. He explained that in 2026, 80% of Jiangyou Culture’s manga teams will switch to the AI realistic human track because of its leading commercial prospects, community reach, and content quality. “In the future, companies with IP will be the most valuable in the AI visual track. AI ultimately competes with electricity, and AI visuals compete with IP.” Huang Haonan said, “A company without IP can achieve short-term success through single-hit products, but the upcoming visual war is a 10, 20, even 30 or 50-year battle. We hope to use AI technology to tell every good IP story that excites the whole world.”
