SpaceX Could File For Mammoth IPO This Week: The Information

SpaceX aims to file for an initial public offering as soon as this week, The Information reported Wednesday. Elon Musk’s space company could seek to raise a record $75 billion in the IPO, possibly aiming for a June listing.

The SpaceX IPO has been highly anticipated. SpaceX recently merged with Musk’s xAI, valuing the artificial intelligence startup at $250 billion.

Wireless spectrum firm Echostar (SATS), which owns a 3% stake in SpaceX, were indicated 8% higher overnight on the IPO report. Google parent Alphabet (GOOGL), which owns a 6%-7.5% SpaceX stake from a 2015 investment, was indicated up more than 1%.

As for other space stocks, Rocket Lab (RKLB), AST SpaceMobile (ASTS) and Planet Labs (PL) all were indicated modestly higher. Karmen Holdings (KRMN), which reports earnings Thursday night, rose slightly.
