Sina Tech News, March 18 — Alibaba Taotian Group’s 2027 internship recruitment officially begins. According to Taotian Group, this recruitment includes three main categories: technology, product, and design, with over 50 positions. More than 90% of these are in technology, continuing Taotian Group’s full embrace of AI.

AI application development engineers, AI agent optimization engineers (data/training/evaluation), and AI application algorithm engineers are three new AI roles in this recruitment and are also the core positions.

Taotian Group will increase salaries for the 2027 interns, offering 500 yuan/day for algorithm/AI R&D/AI product roles and 2000 yuan/day for T-star. Industry-wise, these salaries are considered leading.

It is understood that T-star stands for “Top Talent T-Star Program,” a recruitment and training initiative for top talent by Taotian Group. Centered on the strategic focus of “user-first, AI-driven,” it recruits top technical leaders worldwide.

This campus recruitment targets recent graduates from November 1, 2026, to October 30, 2027. Work locations include Hangzhou, Beijing, and other cities.

Starting March 31, Taotian Group will launch on-campus presentations, visiting universities such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Fudan University, Renmin University of China, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an Electronic Science and Technology University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Southeast University, Nanjing University, and others. They will introduce recruitment details and talent development plans, and answer students’ questions face-to-face. Beginning mid-April, Taotian Group will gradually issue internship offers.

Taotian Group states that in the AI era, it will continue to increase AI investment and tailor exclusive career development paths for potential newcomers, evolving from “technical implementers” to “intelligent system architects.”
