BlackRock: Institutions Focus on Bitcoin and Ethereum, AI Viewed as Key Driver for Crypto Markets
Mars Finance News, March 25 — Robbie Mitchnick, Head of Digital Assets at BlackRock, stated that institutional investors are focusing their crypto allocations on Bitcoin and Ethereum, with limited interest in most other tokens, citing a lack of long-term value. He also pointed out that artificial intelligence will become a more important long-term driver than cryptocurrencies and emphasized that cryptocurrencies, as “computer-native currencies,” have a natural synergy with AI’s “computer-native data and intelligence.” (CoinDesk)
