People’s Financial News, March 24 — The State Council Information Office held a press conference regarding the Ninth Digital China Construction Summit. Liu Liehong, member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the National Data Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission, stated at the meeting that moving forward, efforts will continue to promote data-driven innovation in artificial intelligence. This includes coordinating all parties to deeply implement a new round of high-quality data set construction action plans, covering six major initiatives: strengthening infrastructure and expanding capacity, tackling annotation challenges, improving quality and efficiency, empowering applications, managing services, and unlocking value. Guided by scene-specific needs, the work will be accelerated through pilot projects, aiming to create AI-Ready high-quality data sets that are technically feasible, practical, convenient, and quality-assured, thereby enhancing both the quantity and quality of high-quality data set supply.
