US Embassy in Iraq Attacked, Facilities Catch Fire

Early this morning (March 17) local time, the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad’s Green Zone, Iraq, was attacked by drones, causing a fire inside the facility. From the evening of March 16 to early March 17, according to reporters, the U.S. Embassy in Iraq has been hit by at least five rounds of drone and rocket attacks. The embassy’s air defense alarms have sounded frequently, and the C-RAM anti-missile system has been activated to intercept. (CCTV International News)
