Riyadh: Saudi Arabia’s Defense Ministry said it had intercepted and destroyed a drone in the country’s Eastern Province on Monday evening.

In a statement, official spokesman Turki Al Maliki confirmed that the unmanned aerial vehicle had been detected and neutralised.
