Today (March 4th) in the afternoon, the first “Member Channel” of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference was held at the Great Hall of the People. Yang Jie, a member of the CPPCC and former Chairman of China Mobile Group, was interviewed by reporters. Yang Jie stated, “During the 14th Five-Year Plan, China has built the world’s largest 5G network and gigabit optical network. The total number of 5G base stations has reached over 60% of the global total. The nationwide integrated computing power network is accelerating its deployment, forming a new type of information infrastructure that combines network, computing power, and data.
