As of March 16, the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s margin financing balance was 1,340.247 billion yuan, an increase of 5.082 billion yuan from the previous trading day; the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s margin financing balance was 1,294.306 billion yuan, an increase of 4.638 billion yuan from the previous trading day; the total for both markets was 2,634.553 billion yuan, an increase of 9.720 billion yuan from the previous trading day.
