People Finance News March 25 — Recently, mycoprotein, an innovative protein product jointly developed by Rui Pu Biology and the Tianjin Institute of Industrial Biotechnology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has successfully completed pilot-scale trials, with a 10,000-ton-scale production base set to be established soon. As the "third type of protein" following animal protein and plant protein, mycoprotein is produced from glucose and other raw materials through microbial fermentation technology.
