Digital Realty has announced its entry into the Milan market with the acquisition of two land parcels to build a new data center campus. This expansion, featuring an initial 8 MW facility scalable to 84 MW, complements its existing Rome development, positioning Digital Realty as the sole global platform with campuses in both of Italy’s key connectivity hubs. The move aims to support the region’s growing digital transformation, cloud, and AI demands, strengthening digital infrastructure across Southern Europe.
