Harbin Municipal Party Committee Secretary Yu Hongtao Holds Working Meeting with JD.com Group Chairman Liu Qiangdong
People’s Financial News, March 25 — According to Harbin Daily, on March 24, Harbin Party Secretary Yu Hongtao held a working meeting with Liu Qiangdong, founder and chairman of JD.com. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions on innovative consumer scenarios, expanding foreign trade, and promoting the integration of digital and real economies. Yu Hongtao expressed hope that JD.com will continue to deepen cooperation with Harbin, accelerate the establishment of city-wide super MALLs and flagship stores, expand service formats, build a strong logistics base in Heilongjiang, and drive two-way “going global” of supply chains. They aim to promote Heilongjiang specialties like “Nine Treasures and Eighteen Products” and high-quality industrial products nationwide and even globally, while innovating government-enterprise management and service models for mutual benefit at a higher level. Relevant departments in Harbin will proactively coordinate and provide efficient services to help solve practical problems and ensure solid support for enterprise development. Liu Qiangdong stated that JD.com will leverage Harbin’s geographical advantages and high-quality resources, fully utilize channels, logistics, and brand strengths, and actively explore cooperation in cultural tourism consumption, healthcare, intelligent industry, and foreign trade. They aim to significantly increase investment in Harbin during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, create more consumer scenarios, generate more employment opportunities, and contribute to Harbin’s high-quality development.
