Ask AI · How does deep processing reshape the profit landscape of the blueberry industry?

Recently, blueberry prices have dropped significantly, attracting market attention. According to CCTV Finance, in a large supermarket in Shenzhen, Guangdong, blueberries are placed in the most prominent position.

Since March, blueberry prices have fallen sharply, with a maximum decline of over 30%, drawing many consumers to purchase.

Due to affordable prices, online sales of blueberries are also booming. At a planting base in Chengjiang, Yunnan, e-commerce hosts are promoting their blueberries. As prices decline, last year’s small-box sales of Yunnan Huaxiang blueberries have shifted to “bucket-by-weight” sales during live broadcasts.

As blueberry planting areas expand, deep processing is becoming a new direction to extend the blueberry industry chain. Reportedly, the raw material price for blueberry wine at a fruit wine factory was 20 yuan per kilogram in 2024, but this year it is expected to drop to three or four yuan per kilogram, significantly reducing costs and increasing profit margins.
