People’s Financial News, March 6 — On March 6, the Zhengzhou Urban and Rural Construction Bureau issued a notice seeking public comments on the “Implementation Opinions of the Zhengzhou Municipal People’s Government on Vigorously Promoting the Development of Prefabricated Buildings (Draft for Comments).” The public consultation period is from March 6, 2026, to April 6, 2026.

The draft proposes that, according to relevant notices, in cooperation with provincial-level departments, financial institutions supporting the construction of prefabricated building industrial bases (parks), projects, and companies engaged in technological research and development that meet the criteria, a “green” channel will be established. Efforts will be made to increase credit support, expand the types and scope of collateral and pledges, and provide favorable terms in loan amounts, durations, and interest rates. For those using housing provident fund loans to purchase prefabricated commercial housing, support will be provided according to differentiated housing credit policies, with the maximum loan amount increased by up to 20%.
