In the first two months of this year, our country's total social logistics volume reached 58.6 trillion yuan, showing a clear rebound trend.
People’s Financial News, March 27 — The China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing announced today (27th) the logistics operation data for the first two months of this year. The data shows that China’s logistics has started the year well, with steady recovery in social logistics demand. From January to February, the total social logistics volume was 58.6 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7% based on comparable prices, with the growth rate improving by 1.6 and 1.4 percentage points compared to the whole of last year and the same period last year, respectively, indicating a clear rebound.
In terms of structure, domestic production and consumption, as well as international import logistics demand, have improved simultaneously, with logistics demand across various sectors accelerating compared to the same period last year. From January to February, the total industrial goods logistics volume increased by 6.3% year-on-year. More than 80% of industrial sub-sectors experienced growth, with high-end equipment manufacturing sectors such as computer, communication, and other electronic device manufacturing, as well as railway, shipbuilding, aerospace, and other fields, all exceeding a 10% growth rate.
