The Cyberspace Administration of China Holds National Online Reporting Work Conference
The People’s Financial News, March 26 — On March 26, the Cyberspace Administration of China held the National Online Reporting Work Conference in Yibin, Sichuan. The meeting emphasized that all levels of online reporting departments should earnestly implement the overall requirements for cyberspace work in 2026, promote the solid foundation and improved efficiency of online reporting. They should maintain a high level of political sensitivity, promptly transfer important clues about sensitive trends, and eliminate risks and hidden dangers as soon as possible. Efforts should be made to address urgent concerns of netizens, carry out special reports related to “minors,” “counterfeit and fake websites,” and other issues, and promote easier access and faster processing of enterprise infringement reports. A list of key enterprises requiring protection should be established to help companies report and defend their rights quickly and effectively. The local rumor-refutation coordination mechanism should be fully utilized, along with the “Rumor Buster” IP image, to enhance the authority and timeliness of online rumor refutation. The collection and analysis of report data and the transformation of results should be strengthened, with common reporting evidence lists categorized to effectively solve difficulties in online reporting work. Basic support should be reinforced by issuing guidelines on online reporting, online infringement reporting, and rumor refutation, continuously improving the standardization and professionalism of the work. Series of online reporting promotional activities should be carried out, creating a batch of high-quality works to comprehensively expand the influence of online reporting efforts.
