People’s Financial News, March 26 — According to the China Academy of Sciences, on March 26, 2026, the Solar Wind-Magnetosphere Interaction Panorama Imager Satellite (SMILE), jointly developed by the China Academy of Sciences and the European Space Agency (ESA), completed all pre-launch preparations at the Kourou Spaceport in French Guiana. It has now docked with the Vega-C launch vehicle, and the launch is scheduled for April 9 (local time), which is the afternoon of April 9 Beijing time.
