Anthropic, the developer of Claude, is reportedly considering an IPO as early as October, potentially raising over $60 billion (HKD 468 billion), competing with rival OpenAI in the public offering arena.

Sources say Anthropic has had preliminary discussions with Wall Street banks about leading the potential listing. Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley are expected to be key players in both Anthropic’s and OpenAI’s IPO activities.

Anthropic completed a $30 billion funding round in February, with a post-money valuation of $380 billion.

Currently, SpaceX is expected to secretly file for an IPO as soon as this week, with a fundraising target possibly reaching $75 billion. Sources previously revealed that SpaceX plans to go public in June, with an estimated IPO valuation exceeding $1.75 trillion.

As for OpenAI, its IPO could potentially be completed in the fourth quarter. To prepare for the listing, OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar is building a finance team, having recently hired former Block Chief Accounting Officer Ajmere Dale and former DocuSign CFO Cynthia Gaylor. According to LinkedIn, Gaylor will be responsible for investor relations.
