Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 27 — According to Jinshi Data, Apple plans to open Siri to third-party AI assistants. This move aims to turn the iPhone into an AI platform and is a major initiative. Sources reveal that Apple is preparing to implement this change as part of a comprehensive overhaul of Siri in the upcoming iOS 27 update. Through a partnership with OpenAI, Siri can already access ChatGPT, but Apple will now allow competing service providers to also connect. Insiders say Apple is developing new tools that will enable AI chatbot applications installed via the App Store to integrate with Siri. These chatbots will also work in conjunction with upcoming Siri apps and other features within the Apple Intelligence platform.
