Netflix (US: NFLX) announced that it is increasing monthly subscription prices for all US plans. The ad-supported plan’s latest monthly fee is $8.99, a 12.5% increase; the standard plan’s fee has risen by 11.1% to $19.99; and the premium plan has increased by 8% to $26.99. Netflix is also raising the fees for new subscribers, with the ad-supported plan at $7.99 and the ad-free plan at $9.99.

Currently, Netflix has over 325 million subscribers and has canceled its cheapest basic plan in 2023, leaving subscribers with only the higher-priced “Premium” and “Standard” plans, as well as the ad-supported “Standard” plan.

According to TD Cowen analysts, with the new prices in effect, the average revenue per user in the US and Canada is expected to grow by 6% in 2026 compared to the same period last year.
