Trillium urges votes against two Starbucks directors (SBUX) ahead of annual meeting

Trillium Asset Management and co-filers are urging Starbucks shareholders to vote against directors Jørgen Vig Knudstorp and Beth Ford at the upcoming March 25, 2026, annual meeting. The investment group alleges sustained oversight failures concerning labor relations and governance decisions, specifically citing the dissolution of the “Environmental, Partner Community and Impact Committee” (EPCI) and the recombination of the CEO and Chair roles. Despite Starbucks’ recent announcement to resume bargaining with Starbucks Workers United, Trillium believes board oversight remains insufficient, warranting shareholder action against the two directors.
