Lockheed Martin Invests in Alabama and Strengthens the Workforce Pipeline

Lockheed Martin has signed an incentive agreement with the state of Alabama, committing over $150 million in investment to its Pike County production facility over the next five years. This expansion will create new full-time positions, reinforcing the company’s commitment to the region’s skilled workforce and meeting the rising demand for munitions production. The facility, which has been growing since 1994, manufactures key weapon and missile systems and has created over 300 new jobs since 2019.
