The government will hold a press conference at 3:30 PM to announce the arrangements for residents of the seven affected buildings in Tai Po Wang Fuk Court to return to their units to collect their belongings.

It is understood that the related arrangements will begin in mid to late next month, with the government initially leaning towards allowing 3 to 4 people per household to go upstairs at the same time, staying for at least 2 hours. Psychologists and social workers will be on-site to provide emotional support for the residents.

Residents of Hong Chi House, which was not affected by the fire, were already arranged to return to their units to collect their belongings in early December last year, with a maximum of 2 people allowed inside each household for a stay of half an hour.
