Dong'an Power Photovoltaic Phase II Project Achieves Full Capacity Grid Connection and Power Generation
Dong’an Power’s 5.22 Megawatt Distributed Photovoltaic Phase II Project Achieves Full Capacity Grid Connection for Power Generation.
This report (Reporter Jie Yongzhi) states that recently, Harbin Dong’an Automobile Power Co., Ltd. achieved full capacity grid-connected power generation for its 5.22 megawatt distributed photovoltaic Phase II project. This marks another significant breakthrough for the company in the field of green and low-carbon transformation, following the commissioning of the Phase I 6 megawatt distributed photovoltaic project, indicating that Dong’an Power’s “Photovoltaic + Industry” integrated development layout is continuing to deepen and solidify.
It is reported that the Phase II project fully utilizes approximately 60,000 square meters of idle space on the factory rooftop to install photovoltaic modules, with a total installed capacity of 5.22 megawatts. The annual power generation is expected to reach 6.3 million kilowatt-hours. After the project operates in coordination with the Phase I project, it will form a scaled green energy supply system, saving approximately 4,400 tons of standard coal each year, saving around 3.5 million yuan in electricity costs, and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 14,500 tons, with significant environmental and economic benefits.
In terms of technical configuration, the project uses 8,221 JinkoSolar monocrystalline glass photovoltaic modules and is equipped with 31 string inverters from Sungrow Power. It connects to the factory’s distribution room bus through 12 circuits of 380 volts, achieving complete self-consumption of electricity without grid connection, effectively improving the factory’s clean energy self-sufficiency rate. In terms of safety assurance, the project adopts the mature solution from the Phase I project, incorporating inverter soft start technology, anti-islanding features, and “speed cut” anti-backflow protection devices, which can quickly disconnect faulty circuits and fully protect system operation and the safety of personnel and equipment.
To ensure the long-term stable operation of the power station, Dong’an Power will also establish a specialized operation and maintenance team, create a full-cycle operation and maintenance management system, and carry out routine tasks such as equipment status monitoring, intelligent data analysis, module cleaning and maintenance, and winter snow removal, enhancing power generation efficiency through standardized operations and refined management.
Previously, the Dong’an Power Phase I photovoltaic project had already shown significant results, saving 743 tons of standard coal through photovoltaic power generation by 2025, with a year-on-year reduction of 6.23% in factory electricity consumption. Beyond the photovoltaic project, the company is also promoting centralized control in the factory, reducing thermal energy consumption by 34.67%; implementing dynamic regulation of gas heating, reducing energy consumption by 20.73%. Compared to 2020, the comprehensive energy consumption per ten thousand yuan of output value has decreased by 28.26%, and carbon dioxide emissions per ten thousand yuan of output value have decreased by 18.05%, successfully meeting the energy-saving and carbon reduction targets for the 14th Five-Year Plan.
In the future, Dong’an Power will continue to deepen its green development strategy, focusing on photovoltaic projects as the core lever, exploring new scenarios for clean energy applications, and assisting in the effective realization of the country’s “dual carbon” goals.
