BTC and ETH options settle today for the quarterly expiration: options with a total notional value of over $15.1 billion are expiring.

Deep Tide TechFlow news, on March 27, according to macro analyst Adam from Greeks.live, today is the quarterly options expiration date, and a large number of Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) options are expiring.

The number of BTC options expiring is 68,000 contracts, with a nominal value of approximately $13 billion, and the maximum pain point is $74,000, with a put/call ratio (PCR) of 0.56; the number of ETH options expiring is 370,000 contracts, with a nominal value of approximately $2.12 billion, and the maximum pain point is $2,250, with a PCR of 0.56 as well.

Approximately 36% of Bitcoin and Ethereum options are expiring, and a significant number of options have been rolled over this week, with over 40% of the total options open interest at peak. Moreover, since it is a major expiration day, the proportion of calls is very high, with a PCR of only 0.56.
