China Mobile (00941.HK) 2025 Annual Net Profit Drops 0.9% to HKD 137.1 Billion; Final Dividend of HKD 2.52 per Share
Gelonghui March 26 | China Mobile (00941.HK) announced its annual results. In 2025, the company’s operating revenue grew steadily, reaching RMB 1,050.2 billion, up 0.9%; its revenue from principal business reached RMB 895.5 billion, up 0.7%. Revenue from communications services accounted for 79.8% of revenue from principal business; revenue from computing power services and intelligent services accounted for 20.2% of revenue from principal business, increasing by 1.4 percentage points year over year.
In 2025, the company’s operating profit reached RMB 148.9 billion, up 4.4%. Profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 137.1 billion, down 0.9% year over year; on the same basis, it increased by 2.0% year over year. Earnings per share were RMB 6.35; EBITDA6 was RMB 338.9 billion, up 1.6%; EBITDA margin was 32.3%, up 0.2 percentage points year over year. The company’s profitability continued to maintain a leading position among international first-tier operators. Capital expenditures were RMB 150.9 billion, down 8.0% year over year. Free cash flow was RMB 82.0 billion, remaining healthy and ample.
The board of directors recommended that a final dividend of HK$2.52 per share be paid to all shareholders for the year ended December 31, 2025, together with the interim dividend already declared. Total dividends for 2025 amounted to HK$5.27 per share, up 3.5%. The full-year payout ratio for 2025 was 75%.
To better reward shareholders and share the results of development, the company, taking into full consideration its profitability, cash flow position, and needs for future development, expects its 2026 payout ratio to rise steadily.
