Shanghai International Energy Exchange: Further expand the scope of qualified foreign investors participating in commodity futures and options trading

People’s Financial News, March 27 - The Shanghai International Energy Trading Center announced that, with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, starting from April 22, 2026 (during the continuous trading session on the evening of April 21), the Shanghai International Energy Trading Center (referred to as SHFE) will further expand the range of tradable varieties for qualified foreign institutional investors and Renminbi qualified foreign institutional investors (collectively referred to as qualified foreign investors), adding the following commodity options contracts: No. 20 rubber and international copper options contracts.
