Baotou Rare Earth Exchange: Today's mainstream rare earth product prices have dropped significantly
According to the Baotou Rare Earth Products Exchange, today the prices of mainstream rare earth products have sharply declined. The average price of praseodymium-neodymium oxide is 776,800 yuan/ton, down 24,500 yuan/ton; the average price of praseodymium-neodymium metal is 1,003,300 yuan/ton, up 1,300 yuan/ton; the average price of dysprosium oxide is 1,453,300 yuan/ton, down 26,000 yuan/ton; the average price of terbium oxide is 6,215,000 yuan/ton, down 70,000 yuan/ton. Today, the transaction information for praseodymium oxide, neodymium oxide, europium oxide, lanthanum-cerium oxide, and neodymium metal products is relatively sparse, please refer to it with caution. Currently, praseodymium-neodymium prices continue to decline, and market activity is poor. During the decline in praseodymium-neodymium prices, most companies are replenishing stock at lower prices, and both traders and metal manufacturers are taking various replenishment actions, but the purchasing pace is cautious. Downstream magnet material companies are increasing their inquiries, and large metal manufacturers generally maintain external quotations around 1,000,000 yuan/ton, with low-priced sources of praseodymium-neodymium metal being relatively scarce. Medium and heavy rare earths continue to show weakness, with today’s decline expanding. Overall, the buying power in the market has strengthened, providing support for short-term price stabilization, which is conducive to maintaining stable market operation.
