U.S. President Trump signs an executive order to restrict mail-in voting

On March 31st local time, U.S. President Trump signed an executive order aimed at tightening mail-in voting rules and further restricting this voting method. The executive order will require the Secretary of Homeland Security to compile a list of eligible voters in each state and mandate that the U.S. Postal Service only send absentee ballots to voters on the list. Additionally, ballot envelopes must be equipped with barcodes and other measures to enhance security and traceability. (CCTV News)
